Today we are Christmas, and I am back in France, I took the plane yesterday and flew back!!!
Strange enough, I was not that excited, but felt very strange that evrything was already over..
I already began my new book on Kosovo, and slowly realize that I love Kosovo and its complexities, and already miss some of its aspects.

i decided to continue my blog: so here it is...fanny is back in Kosovo this time for field work..i might have not as much pictures as my first trip...but lets see
Here we go on a crazy ride to Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. The bus trip is long.
The city counts 1.14 million inhabitants, and is one of the oldest capital in Europe (4th century BC). The money is Leva, one Leva is 50¤cent, so it is easy for the convertion.

After a 10 hours bus ride from Skopje to SOfia with some Macedonian ALbanians bothering us and a frozen bus with nearly no heating and windows that were not isolated, we finally arrived.
Snow, ice, and fog, welcome ot Sofia's suburbs.
